Privacy Policy — Yarin AI (Android)
1. What the app does
Yarin is a companion app that connects your phone to Yarin AI running on your own PC (Unreal Editor plugin or Yarin Studio). The chat is served by your PC; the app is a remote view of it.
2. Data we collect
Dark Tower Interactive does not operate a server for this app and does not collect personal data through it. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking SDKs in the app.
3. Camera
Used only on-device to read the pairing QR code (Google ML Kit, on-device). No images are recorded, stored or sent.
4. Microphone and speech
If you use voice input, audio is processed by your device's speech recognition service (e.g. Google) under that provider's terms; the resulting text is sent to your own PC. Read-aloud uses your device's text-to-speech engine.
5. Connection data
Messages travel over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection (Iroh) directly to your PC; relay servers may forward encrypted traffic when a direct path is unavailable and cannot read it. Pairing information (PC identifier, last-seen time) is stored locally on your phone.
6. AI processing
Your messages are handled by Yarin on your PC, which may send them to the AI provider you configured there; see that provider's terms.
7. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13.
8. Your rights (GDPR)
Access, rectification, erasure, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. Uninstalling the app deletes all locally stored data.

Yarin è un'app companion che collega il telefono a Yarin AI in esecuzione sul tuo PC (plugin per Unreal Editor o Yarin Studio). La chat è gestita dal tuo PC; l'app ne è una vista remota.
2. Dati raccolti
Dark Tower Interactive non gestisce server per questa app e non raccoglie dati personali tramite essa. Nessun account, pubblicità, analytics o SDK di tracciamento.
3. Fotocamera
Usata solo sul dispositivo per leggere il QR code di abbinamento (Google ML Kit on-device). Nessuna immagine viene registrata, salvata o inviata.
4. Microfono e voce
Se usi l'input vocale, l'audio è elaborato dal servizio di riconoscimento vocale del dispositivo (es. Google) secondo i termini del fornitore; il testo risultante è inviato al tuo PC. La lettura ad alta voce usa il motore text-to-speech del dispositivo.
5. Dati di connessione
I messaggi viaggiano su una connessione peer-to-peer cifrata (Iroh) direttamente verso il tuo PC; i server relay possono inoltrare traffico cifrato senza poterlo leggere. I dati di abbinamento (identificativo PC, ultimo accesso) restano sul telefono.
6. Elaborazione AI
I messaggi sono gestiti da Yarin sul tuo PC, che può inviarli al fornitore AI che hai configurato; vedi i termini di quel fornitore.
7. Minori
L'app non è destinata a minori di 13 anni.
8. Diritti (GDPR)
Accesso, rettifica, cancellazione, opposizione e reclamo al Garante Privacy. Disinstallando l'app si cancellano tutti i dati locali.
