About the RoleWe’re looking for a
Gameplay Programmer to help build and refine the core mechanics for our tools and games. You will work on player movement, interaction, AI, and other gameplay systems, ensuring they feel polished, responsive, and immersive. This role involves close collaboration with designers and artists, implementing features directly in Unreal Engine and contributing to the overall game feel and player experience.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain core gameplay systems (player movement, interaction, combat, AI, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other programmers to bring gameplay features to life.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Debug and optimize gameplay performance across different platforms.
- Contribute ideas for new mechanics, tools, and workflows to improve the development pipeline.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high technical quality of delivered features.
Requirements- 2+ years of experience as a Gameplay Programmer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and experience with Unreal Engine (Blueprints and C++ ).
- Solid understanding of gameplay systems such as physics, animation, character control, and AI behavior.
- Experience with debugging, profiling, and optimizing performance.
- Passion for games and an eye for player experience and feel.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
- Multiplayer or networking experience
- Shipped game titles or strong personal portfolio
